About Us
OUR FAMILY
We are a military family who traveled the world for many years with our kids and dogs. We finally retired to beautiful Smithfield, Virginia, where our five acre property allows us to achieve our dream of breeding the amazing Cane Corso dog. We brought Mara home from Europe with us. Her father and grandfather, both world champions, Zar and Conan, exemplify the breed standard that many Cane Corso breeders in the US aspire to. Along with conformation, structure, and athleticism, we breed for excellent temperament. Our goal is to match our puppies with the best possible families.
OUR DOGS
All of our dogs are our pets and part of the family. Stella is a gorgeous, solid black girl and a fabulous mother. She is from Mara, our first Cane Corso. Her father is Champion Stonecroft's Beware of Owner. Cody is our amazing stud dog, also bred by Stonecroft. He is a sweet, loving BIG BOY. Peach finished her AKC champion title in Fall 2018. We have added two of Peach's girls to our family over the last three years. Contessa Luna di Moonefield (Tess) is a gorgeous Formentino girl like her mom. Tess's dad is AKC Grand Champion Bellisima's King Simba. Lena Fracchia Nera di Moonefield (Black Arrow Lena of Moonefield) is our solid black girl. Her father is UKC CH Cypress Arrow's Vader. Tess and Lena's show careers were cut short due to Covid. Moonefield's Joy to Difesa's World (Joy) is a Tess baby from last year's litter. At one year old, Joy has earned 8 points toward her AKC Champion title! Watch out for this girl when the show season starts again!
AVAILABLE PUPPIES
Lena was bred to Ivy League's Bacco, BH, CAL2, who is owned by Sharon Sintra. Sharon is very involved with working and obedience competitions.
Lena & Bacco had their litter on Sunday, 26 November. All puppies are black or black brindle. Please contact me for availability.
Tess was bred to Rivenfield's Sail Away With Me (Captain). Captain is bred and owned by Tara Fowler, Rivenfield Kennels. He is the great grandson of Moonefield's original Cane Corsos, Mara & Mikey! Captain is a working farm dog like his mom. Tess's puppies were born 21 December. The pups are blue and black brindle.
Puppies generally leave us between 9 and 10 weeks. They will have had tails cropped and rear dewclaws removed. Their ears will be cropped and they will be microchipped. Prior to leaving us, puppies will have a great start with crate training, obeying basic commands, and UTD on all shots.
